Here are some answers to the common questions I get in our free initial consultations. This will hopefully help to answer some questions you may have about the process. What does a professional organiser do?

Professional organisers take pride in helping their clients organise just about every aspect of their homes. A professional organiser will help you tackle specific problem areas to address the root causes of your clutter and disorganisation. A professional organiser brings much-needed order and value to a cluttered or chaotic home. They have the skills to listen without judgment so that you can improve your overall lifestyle. Simply put, they help you get your home in order.

What locations do you cover?

Although the majority of our home organisation & decluttering services are conducted in Bath, Bristol and the Cotswolds, we regularly work with clients in London and across the UK. Travel more than 10 miles outside of BA1 in Bath will be invoiced. If there is no on-site parking available then this will be pre-arranged and invoiced. Please get in touch to get a quote for working in your area.

Do I need to clean up before you arrive?

Please don’t. I will get a much better idea of how you actually live and some of the habits you may have that are contributing to your clutter. I will provide non-judgmental, empathetic support whilst working with you and hope you will feel comfortable to be open with me. I also love a good mess, it’s so much more satisfying when we are done.

Will you post photos of my home online?

With your consent I would love to share before and after photos of your space so potential clients can see what they might be able to expect. If you would prefer that any and all photos aren’t shared then your wishes will be respected of course, it is your home after all.

Is it okay that some places/rooms are off limits?

Yes of course! I am coming into your home and am very happy that my clients trust me and welcome me in, but it is your home and your space so I will respect your privacy wishes.

How long will it take?

As you can imagine this is a very difficult question to answer as it’s very general. However, take a look at our pricing & packages page to get an idea of project length and type. Will you work with me if I am diagnosed with hoarding disorder?

The simple answer is yes, of course. However, I am not a psychologist or medical professional so may suggest you seek professional assistance to help with your symptoms, whilst we get on top of your clutter.
